Accounting Software
We are a Xero Partner and Quickbooks ProAdvisor, so whether you are brand new to the software, looking to change your accounts to new software or need some help in reorganising your books, we are here to help. We can offer ongoing training and support packages to help you/your accounts team understand the software functionalities and how you can use it best. We also have knowledge in Freeagent and are happy to consider working with other software packages as appropriate for your business.
Accounts Preparation
At Redwood Bookkeeping we can offer support to Sole Traders, Partnerships as well as Limited Companies. We can do all of your bookkeeping as regularly as required to help you keep on top of your accounts and we can help you get prepared for your year end accounts. We are able to run and submit VAT Returns so even if you just need help on a quarterly basis we have you covered. We have good working relationships with some local accountancy firms, so if you're looking for an all round service, please get in touch.
Bookkeeping
Feeling stressed at the thought of starting your bookkeeping? Is it always pushed to the bottom of the pile to do later on? We can look after all your transactional postings, so you don't have to! Whether you are already using software, want to explore software options or have a shoe box full of receipts, we can help you. We can arrange the best ways to share information, whether it be drop offs in bags/shoe boxes etc or via secure sharing sites such as dropbox, or via software. Once we have your information, we can magically transform it into useful information for you to use in your business or share with your accountant.
You can rest assured that your shoebox/bag will be returned in order and in a nice neat file for safe storage.
Credit Control
Do you need help managing your credit control? Are you fed up of chasing those late payers or struggling to get paid for some of your hard earned work? We can help. We can come up with a strategy for approaching your clients and work with you to get the job done. We can organise your filing systems so you know when you need to pay your suppliers, enabling you to maintain good working relationships and help you to better understand your cash flow.
Payroll
Are you in need of support with your payroll? Whether this is for one Director or a team of staff, we can offer support. We can offer payroll for up to 20 employees including Directors. With this option, you will get a fully managed service, from payroll processing, payslip production, PAYE reporting and pension submissions. As long as we become your PAYE agents, we can deal with all things HMRC too! We use our own software, but can also use any cloud based software you are already using.
VAT Returns
We can plan, prepare and submit your VAT Returns. As long as you keep your records together, we can organise this for you and we can use this information to create your returns using Making Tax Digital Software. We can also register as your VAT agents so we can deal with HMRC on your behalf in relation to your VAT. If your books are in a pickle and you need help bringing your returns up to date, we can help!
Accounts Software Training
From April 2023 all businesses, including sole traders and partnerships where the turnover is more than £10,000, must use digital software to make their submissions to HMRC. This can be a daunting prospect. If you don’t know where to start, then we can help.
We can set you up with the right accounts package for your business. The majority of our clients use Xero or Quickbooks, but we have experience with Freeagent, Freshbooks and Zoho as well. These software packages provide the best way to view your accounts at anytime and anywhere and will keep you in line with the new MTD guidelines.
If you haven’t yet made the decision to move to online accounting software, whether this is due to worries over how to use the software, not knowing the best one for your business or simply not having the time to set things up, have a chat with us to discuss the options available to you. We are Quickbooks Proadvisors & Xero Silver Partners and can offer you a tailor-made support package. Plus, we offer full training on how to use either of these packages and we can help you get everything set up. If you then choose to stay with us for bookkeeping support, we will give you a 10% monthly discount on your bookkeeping for the first 3 months.
